Join us Sunday October 5th from 12-3pm for an afternoon of unleashing your creativity and customizing your sneakers! Bring your kicks, we provide the rest! Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking for a unique and creative experience, this event is for you. Jenna will walk you through ideas for how to add a creative touch to your shoes.

Things to know

  • BYOS: Bring Your Own Sneaks! Grab a fresh new pair of kicks or up-cycle an old pair! We highly suggest a mostly white, leather/faux leather based sneaker, but canvas is also a great option. We provide the rest!
  • All the tools, supplies, support and inspiration to create your own custom pair of sneakers. There's even a swag bar with laces, charms, patches and more!
  • Express your creativity, enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments and leave with a one-of-a-kind pair of sneakers!

Snacks will be provided!

Jenna is a passionate creator, collaborator, and advocate for others looking to share their creative gifts with the world. With over 17 years in the fashion and design industry and a love for exploring diverse creative roles, Jenna brings high-energy, multidisciplinary expertise to every project—whether it’s crafting bespoke murals, designing branding and merch for businesses in the Boston area and beyond, or hosting interactive art activations and classes. Let’s make cool stuff together!

Past events with companies like New Balance, Loco, and Boston Landing have blended artistry with brand alignment—offering guided customization, and creative prompts that make each pair of sneakers truly one-of-a-kind. Whether for team-building or community engagement, we can turn white sneaks into wearable works of art!

Frequently asked questions

In the event of a workshop cancellation by the instructor or Friends Forever, all attendees will be notified and receive a full refund and notified of a rain date if any.

There is a 5-day cancellation window for attendees. You can cancel your reservation within 5 days before the class date to receive a refund. Cancellations after the 5-day window will not be refunded.

In the event of a rescheduled class, patrons with already purchased tickets will be notified and get first priority for seats for the new date. New and remaining seats -- if any -- will then be opened up to the public for purchase.

Please send all inquiries for private events to bebright@soymuchbrighter.com with the date and time you are looking to book the space for. We are open to hosting fundraisers, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or other events for ages 18 and up. Please also include in your email if you'd like the studio to also host a workshop for your event - ex: block printing, painting, spell jar making, etc

Photographs may be taken at any of the FFS workshops and may be used in future marketing of the studio and it's events

Unfortunately no, we are an adults-only studio space. All our classes are 18+ unless otherwise stated.
