Make Your Own Ceramic Vase // Sat Oct 12th

Saturday October 12th, 2024 5 - 7 pm @ Friends Forever Studio (285 Rantoul St, Beverly, Pond St entrance) with Denise Merry (Seacoast Ceramics)!

Let's play with some clay! Join Denise as she walks you through the process of hand-making your very own ceramic vase. Throughout the workshop attendees will be guided step by step in the clay building along with form and decoration suggestions, and talks about the nuances of clay and glazes to expand your knowledge!

After the workshop Denise will bring your creations home to be bisque fired in a kiln, coated in a clear glaze, and fired again. Attendees will be able to pick up their finished vase at the Friends Forever Studio roughly 2 weeks after the workshop.

All materials will be provided for you, including rolling pins, cookie cutters, molds, colored underglazes (ie clay paint) and other tools to make your vase as unique as can be.

Water and seltzers will be provided, but feel free to BYOB (bevvies & besties! <3)

Our processing time is currently 7-10 business days. Once the order ships via USPS, you'll receive a tracking number. You can use the tracking number to follow your order from our shop to your door.

We use 100% soy wax that's made right here in the US. We scent the candles with a fragrance + essential oil blend that's phthalate-free. Everything we use is vegan, cruelty-free and as sustainable as possible. Check our our sustainability promise at the bottom of the home page to learn more!

Our candle scent blends are all custom blended by our head candle maker. You won't find our scents anywhere else!

Yes! They must be cleaned of all wax, wick, AND the label must be completely removed from the glass. Send an email to bebright@soymuchbrighter.com to learn more about our recycling program.

Wooden wicks are a newer type of wick in the candle world. They are sourced from organic, native hardwood. Woodwicks burn slower than cotton wicks and ours crackle while burning. They have utility and ambiance!

Sometimes wooden wicks can be trickier to navigate than cotton wicks. They need to be trimmed to 1/8th of an inch before each burn to ensure the proper burn experience. If you ever have any questions or issues with the wick or candles in general, shoot us an email!
